Herencia presents its cultural program for autumn/winter 2024 with a diverse and high-quality offering.

The Municipal Auditorium of Herencia has revealed its ambitious cultural program for the autumn and winter season of 2024, offering a wide range of genres and artistic styles designed to attract audiences of all ages. The Culture department has made a special effort to provide a diverse program that combines local talent with national productions, establishing Herencia as a cultural reference in the region.

The season kicked off on October 1st with the celebration of the Senior Citizens’ Day, honoring two great figures of Spanish copla, Antonio Molina and Marifé de Triana, with the show “Únicos”. From there, the audience can enjoy a total of 12 events, including theater, music, and comedy, running until January 2024.

Highlights of the season include performances such as David Cepo (October 31), Mentes Inteligentes (November 9), the musical “Mamma Mia” (November 16), and Carlos Rubio, mentalist (December 21). Additionally, the program features the AEDEMCR Solidarity Gala (Multiple Sclerosis Association) on October 5, a music-filled event in support of the cause. The play “Rosas” by Federico García Lorca will also be presented on November 30, paying homage to the renowned Spanish poet and playwright.

The program also includes activities for children with traditional school campaigns, showcasing performances like “A contar Quijotes” on October 25 and “No solo duelen los golpes” on December 2. Music lovers can look forward to concerts by the Santa Cecilia Musical Group and the Gabriel Molina Prados Municipal Music School, bringing traditional and popular melodies in November and December.

The Councilor of Culture of Herencia, Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana, emphasized the commitment of the Government team to promote culture and make it accessible to all audiences. The town aims to position itself as a cultural landmark at both local and national levels, believing in the talent and resources to compete on the national stage.
