From January 3 to 8, Catalonia hosted the Spanish Championship of Autonomous Selections (CESA) in handball, where Herencia was once again represented.
The town had the participation of Laura Martín-Buitrago, a player from the Municipal Sports Schools, along with locals Claudia González-Román and Elena González, who play for the Imperial and Pozuelo teams, respectively. The three athletes defended the colors of the Castilla-La Mancha team in this edition of the championship.
Herencia.net has extended its congratulations to the athletes for their selection and hard work, as well as to their families and coaching staff, encouraging them to continue with their progress for the rest of the season.
