Last weekend, Valdepeñas hosted a new day of the Provincial Football Selections, where Herencia was again represented by two young talents.
On one side, Gael Benjamín Núñez Florencianez, a player from the Alevín-A team of the Herencia Sports Football School—coached by Josu—was called up for this concentration. Joining him was local player Guillermo Gómez-Calcerrada, who currently plays for the Alcázar School.
Herencia.net also extends its congratulations to both for being selected for the provincial teams and wishes them much success for the remainder of the season. Their presence in Valdepeñas is a source of pride for grassroots sports in Herencia and serves as motivation for the local youth programs.
