Civil Protection brings the First Volunteer Conference to “Los Frailes” with talks on self-protection and coexistence.

Herencia Civil Protection continues to host its First Volunteer Days at local schools in the community. This time, the activity took place at the Padres Mercedarios School, commonly referred to as “Los Frailes”, where several talks were delivered to students.

According to the organization, the session focused on prevention and coexistence, particularly addressing issues like bullying and gender violence, which are key topics in the awareness initiatives being covered during these sessions.

The initiative aims to raise awareness about volunteer work within the educational community and provide basic tools to enhance self-protection, identify risky situations, and promote a safer and more respectful school environment.

These events are part of a series of recent actions taken by the organization in local schools, where volunteers have also conducted practical activities related to first aid and basic emergency response, emphasizing the importance of prevention from an early age.

Herencia Civil Protection has noted that the program will continue in the coming weeks with new visits to other educational institutions in Herencia.
