The Herencia Town Hall unveiled the poster for the first edition of PURA ESHENCIA on Tuesday, under the slogan “Music with roots that unites generations.” This new festival is set to take place on June 27 at the José María Fernández de la Puebla Football Field.
The presentation highlighted that PURA ESHENCIA aims to showcase the most popular and culturally significant music that resonates across generations. The festival is designed to bring people together through music, featuring a mix of different styles.
The lineup will include artists like Pole, an emerging artist from La Mancha, along with El Arrebato and Leire Martínez, as well as Les Castizos and the local talent of Venus Astra. The festival plans to provide over 8 hours of non-stop music, creating an intergenerational meeting experience.
Organizers emphasize the festival’s unique identity and innovative format, aspiring to establish Herencia as a cultural reference point by embracing a distinct model. The goal is to become one of the country’s most recognized festivals, offering a unique style that brings live music closer to local residents and the wider region.
This festival is made possible through a public-private collaboration that unites efforts, resources, and a shared vision of culture as a social and economic driver. It results from the joint work of the Herencia Town Hall and the Castilla-La Mancha Regional Government, alongside private investment from Heredia Producciones, with sponsorship from companies like Fibritel. This model allows for high-quality live music and large productions to be accessible to the public at very affordable prices, ensuring cultural accessibility and reinforcing Herencia’s commitment to an ambitious, inclusive, and sustainable cultural program.
Promoter Chus Heredia announced at Tuesday’s press conference that “tickets are now available at a promotional launch price of 30 euros,” presenting an opportunity to attend “an event that aspires to become a must for the start of summer in Castilla-La Mancha.”
Mayor Sergio García Navas stated, “This project enables Herencia to strengthen its commitment to culture, live music, and the social and tourist dynamism of the municipality, focusing on an ambitious, accessible, and identity-driven program, thanks to the collaboration with the government and brave private investment.”
Finally, the responsible councilor for Culture, Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana, emphasized the importance of promoting our local culture as a symbol and tourist attraction. “The music we all carry inside will have its grand occasion in Herencia—eight hours to feel who we are, sing until our voices are hoarse, and share our PURA ESHENCIA.”
The Herencia Town Hall invites residents and visitors to be part of the birth of a festival that aims to endure, celebrating shared identity and collective enjoyment through music and culture.
