The mayor of Herencia held a working meeting with the new board of the San Antón Neighborhood Association, a deeply rooted entity in the municipality that plays a significant role in the daily life of the neighborhood.
During the meeting, the mayor had the opportunity to hear firsthand the proposals, priorities, and action plans of the new team, as well as discuss various improvements that the association aims to implement in the area over the coming months. The meeting also served to strengthen direct communication between both parties and coordinate potential actions related to the environment and the needs of the residents.
The San Antón Neighborhood Association maintains a constant level of activity throughout the year. In addition to its collaboration with the brotherhood in organizing the traditional neighborhood festivities in January, the association also addresses issues related to community living, safety, and the proper functioning of the area, relaying the concerns and requests of residents to the City Council.
Through these types of meetings, the local government reaffirms its commitment to maintain ongoing dialogue with the associative fabric and continue making progress in improving the various neighborhoods of the town.
