On Saturday, January 17th, at 6:00 PM, the town hall courtyard will host the presentation of the book “The Music Band of Herencia: From Municipal Band to Santa Cecilia Musical Group”, authored by Ángel Martín Fontecha Guijarro and published by the Town Hall of Herencia.
This volume reviews the history of this centennial group, which is a key part of the municipality’s cultural life, from its origins as a municipal band to its establishment as the Santa Cecilia Musical Group. The event is open to the public and is aimed at music enthusiasts and local history lovers interested in learning about the evolution and musical heritage of the town.
The event will also feature a saxophone ensemble from the group, providing musical entertainment to cap off an afternoon of memory and recognition.
