The Herencia Carnival—recognized as a Festival of National Tourist Interest—has once again exceeded expectations. Just 24 hours after the registration period opened (at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 12), the Offer Parade has already seen over 3,000 registrations and around thirty groups confirmed for the event on Tuesday, February 17.
“The Offer Parade in Herencia has become a cultural and festive reference point both regionally and nationally, attracting participants and visitors from numerous locations. The avalanche of registrations demonstrates the immense interest in an event that, year after year, not only retains its essence but also grows in participation, visibility, and prestige,” said the Culture Councillor, Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana.
The Culture and Festivities Department emphasizes that this surge is no coincidence: organization, adaptability, community roots, and visual appeal have established the Offer Parade as one of the events with the greatest social, cultural, and economic impact in the region. The response from both returning and new groups highlights the extraordinary moment that the Herencia Carnival is currently experiencing.
The registration period remains open through the email provided on the municipal website, although spots are nearing capacity, especially in the more popular categories such as groups and special floats, which are close to full occupancy.
With these numbers, it is clear that the 2026 edition is set to deliver a spectacle that will be hard to match in Spain: thousands of people in the streets, an extraordinary festive atmosphere, and a Carnival that will once again make Herencia the epicenter of creativity and participation.
