The Herencia Cycling School kicks off the XCO season at the Castilla-La Mancha Championship in Illescas.

The season for XCO cycling (Olympic cross country) has kicked off in Castilla-La Mancha, and Herencia was present from the very first weekend. The season began with the Championship of Castilla-La Mancha, where the initial event took place in Illescas. Several students from the Cycling School traveled there to participate in this inaugural event of the calendar.

This competition served as a debut for the season, an important opportunity to assess the work done during training and start gaining experience in a demanding discipline, where both mountain bike technique and endurance are crucial, as well as pace management.

The school would like to congratulate the young participants and the team of instructors for their efforts, also highlighting the support from families who were present to cheer on the cyclists during a day of hard work and learning.

With this first step in Illescas, the Herencia Cycling School is looking forward to the upcoming challenges on the regional calendar with positive feelings and the motivation to continue growing in each race.
