In its commitment to sports and healthy living, Herencia has taken a step forward with the opening of a state-of-the-art municipal sports center. The complex, which is already fully operational, offers cutting-edge facilities for a variety of physical activities to citizens.
Facilities and Services
The center features a wide range of spaces designed to meet the needs of all athletes:
- Two group exercise rooms
- An indoor cycling room
- A functional training room
- A gym equipped with machinery for cardiovascular and muscular training
- Restrooms and changing rooms
In addition to traditional activities such as Pilates, Active Dance, and Body Training, the new center has expanded its offerings to include classes in Indoor Cycling and Functional Training. This diversity of options has attracted people of all ages from the first days of operation.
Hours and Rates
The gym, which is still accepting registrations through the AyMo app, offers open training at the following schedule:
- Monday to Friday: from 08:00 to 15:00 and from 16:00 to 23:00
- Saturdays: from 09:00 to 14:00
The rates have been established as follows:
- General fee: €35 monthly
- Reduced fee: €25 monthly (for retirees/pensioners, participants aged 14 to 18, and athletes federated in local clubs)
Municipal Commitment to Sports
Mayor Sergio García-Navas, along with Sports Councillor Serafín Tajuelo and Welfare and Social Services Manager Conchi Rodríguez-Palancas, visited the facilities to see firsthand the operations and impressions of the users. This visit highlights the Government’s commitment to promoting sports and healthy living in the municipality.
Serafín Tajuelo, responsible for the Sports area, stated: “We are aware of the importance of leading an active lifestyle, which is why we are committed to expanding and improving the facilities to develop sports activities under the best conditions.”
The Town Hall of Herencia invites all interested residents to visit the offices of the Municipal Sports Service for a tour or more information about this new sports facility, which promises to become a reference point for physical activity and well-being in the locality.
