Herencia is heading to the streets again for the XIV March Against Cancer on April 18.

Herencia will celebrate a new edition of “March Against Cancer” on Saturday, April 18, an event that has become a staple on the local charity calendar, aimed at all audiences. This non-competitive activity will start and end in Plaza de España, kicking off at 12:00 PM.

Organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in Herencia, the event aims to bring together locals and visitors around a simple message: every step counts. In addition to its charitable focus, the day promises a full schedule for families and friends, with a festive atmosphere to enjoy at the end of the route.

Registration and Fees

The registration fee is 7 euros, which includes a commemorative t-shirt and a bottle of water. You can register in person at designated points set up by the organization:

  • Lemmon Moments (Plaza de España, 21) during business hours.
  • Plaza de España on Friday, April 17, starting at 5:30 PM.
  • Also through members of the association.

Dancing and April Fair After the Walk

As a complement to the march, the organization has planned an active dance exhibition featuring Body Training Dance, as well as the chance to continue the day enjoying the atmosphere of the April Fair at Lemmon Moments, turning this event into a morning of community and participation.

The local AECC expresses gratitude to the supporting businesses and encourages everyone to join the event, emphasizing that it’s not about the pace, but about being there and participating.
