Herencia will once again be filled with art and atmosphere during the second edition of the Deliriox Festival of Don Quixote, taking place from April 24 to 26. This year’s event returns with an enhanced proposal: more venues, increased participation from local gastronomy, and a wider variety of food offerings, solidifying its status as one of the most prominent cultural events of spring in the community.
Supported by the Council of Culture, the festival maintains its core mission: bring culture to the streets and transform squares, parks, and corners of the town—alongside various hospitality establishments—into an open stage. Over three days, attendees can enjoy theater, dance, circus, painting, sculpture, interactive workshops, and experiences where creativity merges with enjoyment.
More bars and restaurants, more experiences for the audience
A significant milestone for this edition is the greater involvement of the local hospitality sector, with an increase in participating bars and restaurants. The intention is clear: to experience the festival from the table, blending cuisine, music, and artistic proposals to enhance the sensory and intimate nature of the event.
In addition to energizing the cultural life, Deliriox also aims to boost the local economy, uniting various sectors within the same programming.
Deliriox Awards and programming for everyone
The festival will once again feature the Deliriox Awards, recognizing individuals, groups, and initiatives that work year-round to promote culture. The agenda boasts over 14 activities spread throughout the weekend, with options designed for a diverse audience of all ages.
The organizers emphasize that Deliriox is not just a festival, but a way of understanding culture: one that is shared in the streets, lived in community, and turns the ordinary into something special. During these days, Herencia invites locals and visitors alike to join in on this “creative madness” that—like in Don Quixote—contains a blend of dreams and celebration.
